The Little Fighter by Beyla

Despite her parents love in the youth
A Little girl seek for another affection
Yet til she grows her wisdom tooth
She's yet to find her love direction

As she listens to her favourite love song
She hums and sing along
Wondering where her heart should belong
and whether her prince has been there all along

On a fateful day she found her prince
Too bad he disappears, after the hope he gave her long since
Then another lad sets her heart on fire
Too bad only from a distance she could admire

Exhausted, she plans to give up
Comforting herself she sucks on a chuppa chup
She pours her heart to her one true friend
Her shattered heart she tries to mend

'Love's a battle field' the friend quotes
and she is the little fighter
'celebrate your singleness' he also promotes
and her heart finally feels lighter

This piece goes out to you my sister
whose heart is still in wonder
of a place to give comfort and shelter
Don't ever give up, my dear!

A Twist of My Fairytale by Beyla

The moment when I first saw you
sweetness overload as chocolate fondue
Forever engraved in my memory
My first love whom I hoped to marry

It was not easy to forget
Your eyes so attractive as a magnet
moreover your lips that curve a smile
that makes everything else worthwhile

The moment when I received your sms
quickly my heartbeat became a mess
Just a 'how are you' to simply show you care
Gave as much comfort as hugging a teddy bear

It was not until that day
That this story is no longer a cliche
My teenage fairytale took a twist
When you disappeared as if you never exist

Pleased I was to see your return
but somehow your ways turned cold and stern
Wondering what have I done to wrong you
Yet no answer could make my heart feel less blue

Like the sand slipping through a fist
I let your shadow disappear into the mist
but one thing I never quite overcame
is the wonder if you ever feel the same
